SynthCity deliveries and delivery times:

Logistics inside the EU:

For the the countries of the european union we use PostNL or UPS to send your package. As soon as a package has been registered for shipping, you will receive a notification via e-mail.

When PostNL or UPS has received the package, you will receive an e-mail with the track and trace code to follow your package. Usually your package will be delivered the next working day. For Belgium it takes about 2 working days. The same applies to most other EU countries.

 

If your package is seriously damaged, we ask you to refuse the package and inform SynthCity-Webshop immediately by e-mail to: [email protected]

 

Logistics outside the EU:

 

Deliveries outside the EU are exempt from taxes such as VAT. For shipments outside the EU, we use PostNL as standard. The transit times per country are available on the PostNL website. Please keep in mind that the local customs procedure can take a lot of time. For urgent shipments we use DHL Express. This involves high costs.

Not at home at first delivery attempt:

 

The PostNL deliverer leaves a card with a 'non-home code'.

With this code you can choose a new delivery moment yourself.

This is possible until 22:00. If you do not do anything, PostNL will visit you again on the next delivery day (Monday to Saturday).

 

Not at home on second delivery attempt:

 

Even then the deliverer will leave a ticket with you. This shows where you can pick up your package.

Deliveries outside the Netherlands but within the EU:

Outside the Netherlands, PostNL works with partners in the country of destination.

Your package goes first to customs and only then to the partner of PostNL.

Customs has the right to hold consignments for 30 days without stating reasons.

Deliveries with and without VAT

 

Business customers within the EU:

If you are a business customer within the EU and you have a valid VAT number, we can deliver you without VAT. You can indicate this when creating an account in our webshops by entering a valid VAT number without points and / or other punctuation marks and choosing your country of destination. Your VAT number will then automatically be checked. With a valid VAT number, the prices excluding VAT will be visible in your shopping cart and on your order and invoice. Should the automatic VAT number verification not be successful, please contact us by e-mail.

 

Because we are based in the Netherlands, this does not apply to Dutch business customers.

 

Consumer within the EU:

If you are a consumer and live in the EU, we only deliver Dutch VAT included.

 

Consumer or business customer outside the EU:

VAT exemption applies to all customers outside the EU. By selecting the country of destination when creating your account, the VAT rate is automatically set to 0%.

Right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers within the European Union. Non EU consumers and business customers are expressly excluded from the right of withdrawal.

 

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

 

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, physically seize the good. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of an unambiguous statement (for example, in writing, by post or e-mail) that the agreement will be revoked. You can use the model withdrawal form (PDF), but you are not obliged to do so. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send your communication regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

 

Consequences of the revocation

If you cancel the agreement, you will receive all payments you have made up to that moment, including delivery costs (with the exception of any extra costs as a result of your choice for a different method of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer ) without delay and in any case no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract, from us. If you only return part of your order, the costs for delivery will not be refunded. We will pay you back with the same payment method with which you made the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, we will not charge you for such reimbursement. We may wait with reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have shown that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.

You must return the goods with all accessories and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging without delay, but in any case not later than 14 days after the day on which you notify us of the decision to cancel the agreement, to return or hand over to us. You are on time if you return the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

The direct costs of returning the goods are for your account.
